Idea: CM Partner's dueling!

Wouldn't it be interesting to see your decked out warrior companion have a duel with your mage?

 

Is there already a mod (or a way) to do this?

 

I just thought it would be a fun mod, although likely time consuming with the script perhaps?

Well since no one has decided to chime in I suppose it's time to break out a scripting editor.. can anyone point me in the right direction on that, at least?

I have done some python, java, and C++, so how hard could it be?

 

Syntax Highlighter?

 

I was looking at the editor posted by Blackie (the uploader of CM Partners) but was referenced to the Highlighter by a later post. So,

before downloading and jumping straight in I thought I should ask around first.

 

I guess when tackling this one, the easiest approach would seem to be finding the script he used for 'sparring'

 

And finding out how he timed it, and then add the dialogue to the cm options menu.

An easy way I guess would be to temporarily tweak their dispositions, something that doesn't seem to be easily done

perhaps without overhauling the mod, since it does seem hard to get them fight one another...
