zymurgy65
I've used the CS to produce a couple of mods with no problems. However, I've noticed some errors/omissions in a mod I downloaded. I can correct them but I'm unable to save the changes because of an "Unable to remove the old file" warning. It even happened on one of my own mods when I realised I'd forgotten to change an entry. This means I'm currently unable to produce mods that are based on th UOP and USIP. Is there anything I can do?
The_Vyper
I've run into that issue a couple of times. It usually means that another program (such as TES4Edit) is currently accessing the file you're trying to save. Close those other programs, and you should be able to save. zymurgy65
OK, I'll do that. Thanks!
zymurgy65
Problem solved! It turns out all I had to do was right-click on the CS icon, then left-click "open as administrator". Simple really, but apparently not as simple as I am...
