"Well, I think we can assume that this a sword of Zooz. But now what to do with it?" T'skar looks at the others, "We could take it to the sword maker, but he might not be willing to give it back after he has cleaned it. Maybe we should check with the weapons trainers and see if they can help us." T'skar proceeds to conceal their other two swords.

OOC> can Abramul or the Terminator please agree or disagree and fix a plan of action. There is nothing to challenge anyone in Zooz I'm afraid. That will not be the case in most of the places you can go next. And you should debate that. You can - steal the sword in Ippikander, look for the Child of Healing off Selma, look for Costanta's bones in Antinapura or look for the sword last heard of in the ruined city of Akitaron.

Following the suggestion you take the swords to one of the trainers, Prandal. He is a very pleasant youngish man who points out that the sword handle is completely useless. The silver sword, he advises, is clearly a training sword and if you don't want it he'll buy it from you.

The other sword has him mystified for a moment. Then he says: "The sword has been placed in a cheap and nasty sheathe and exposed to great heat. The sheathe has melted and attached itself to the sword. If you are willing to wait I can probably clean it up for you."

The wait is rather longer than you expected and it is late when he returns.

"You realise what you have here is not just any sword? It is a sword created by the famed Master Of Zooz. This is worth a fortune. I never thought I would get to handle one, let alone see one born before my eyes. I could not afford to buy it and in truth I would not want it. My business would suddenly attract far too many thieves, many of whom would not be bothered by thoughts of murder. Here I will give you a plain sheathe. Keep it hidden."

He will take no money for the service so you leave him the training sword as a gift.

Back in your lodging you hide the sword with the others and repair to the adjoining sitting room to discuss the next move. You talk about how it is important to get all the swords as quickly as possible to save Bashkher from petrefaction.

As you are talking you hear a whisper of sound from the next room. The window is open. Someone has climbed in and out. The swords of Zooz have been moved but not taken.

As you peer through the window you see a man hesitating in the street below. A moment later and he has entered the house and is knocking on your door. He speaks before you can say anything:-

"A thief. A thief with a conscience, even worse." T'skar looks the man over, "I suppose when dealing with thieves, it is best to have them in front of you, or at least beside you, rather than slinking around behind you." She pauses, "You said someone hired you steal these swords? Could you at least describe them? Anything you can remember might prove useful, no matter how trivial seeming." She waits for an answer, using her Mind magic to detect a lie.

"Man that gived me this job is dark type. He always sitted in darkest corner of inn. Most people didn`t notice him. First time I noticed him is when there is some bandits in inn, my job was to spy what are they doing. So I used my beastal eyes spell to see in dark. He noticed that I was looking at him for some time. HE taked out his throwing dagger (knowed as kunai) ,moment later there was messiage stabed with throwing knife in column near me. Messiage was saying "Meet me tommorow at midnight in graveyard." I meeted him at graweyard, that is where hi gave me this job. He was wearing face mask so I didn`t seen his face. His hair was white as old humans have , but his voice was like he is child. He was wearing some leather armor and cloack black as midnight. Half meter behind was two mans that was wearing heavy armor and sabres. Now please, excuse me. " Ashr`artel went to sleeping room. Ashr`artel lay in T'skar bed and before anyone can do anything he start sleeping.

"It appears our new 'friend' is rude, as well as inept." T'skar sneers as she looks at the sleeping form. "It would be so easy to be rid of this problem," she muses, hand brushing her dagger, "But I'm sure that would create some new ones." She reluctantly pulls her hand away.

Turning to the rest, she says, "Where to now? We are in the middle of the country, and need to make some decisions. I propose we head south, to find the Child of Healing, so that we can get a water breathing spell to find one of the missing swords. Then likely head to the ruined city to the west, to see if we can find the other missing sword. It's really no use going after the swords we know if we can't find the missing ones." She waits for the others to reply.
