"At this rate.. we are getting nowhere.. We could be searching for well over a decade if this goes on!"

Tiax seems a little frustrated............

"Well it has been such a long time since I last had a challange"

Tiax sais to his two companions as if they asked why he was so upset.

"Seal, Mandrake we should return to the inn for now..... There we will see if the others had more luck. If not we will have to go to a library to study...... At least I have to.. I do not force nor ask any of you both to do the same but............"

Without another word Tiax sets off to the inn.

"Well? Are you both not coming?"

After a brief, barely audible dialogue between T'Skar and Kalmer, the latter says to the former, "Good idea, young kinswoman, but I think we should save it for now. We should get back to the others to work out a plan, and replenish our energies. The hour of supper draws near, and we may risk failure if we rush into this now."

(ooc - presuming T'Skar agrees....) The fellow Tagfierians work there way back through the 'Comb, Tracker and Thief alike being well-accustomed to find their way where others might easily stray. They return to the Inn, where the others have already ordered dinner.

Baba has a somewhat vacant expression on his face, as if his thoughts were elsewhere, and Gnaag looks positively lairy. Tiax and Mandrake, too, look in need of some action, albeit less violence-orientated than Gnaag's.

Sael seems to have perked up after his day out, and Ara has a fire in her eyes as though ready for an archery contest.

Kalmer sits down next to Baba and orders unleavened bread, unsalted anchovies, olive oil and a jug of water.

"It looks like we'll be needing more than two of us for the task in hand." He addresses the group. "Come, Baba, spare me a pipe's worth, if you will!" Kalmer takes out a small pipe from his belt and taps it clean, smiling faintly. For the first time he actually looks relaxed...........

Following Kalmer back to the Arms of Dohoti, T'skar thinks on what the old man said, or more precisely HOW he said it. I wonder if I could change his attitude with a little spell? But maybe it would be easier just to get him to leave the door unlocked with a little forgetfulness she muses.

Sitting with the rest of the group, she goes over the same plan she had suggested to Kalmer, but including all of them. "If Kalmer and I concealled ourselves, and then each one of us, starting with those that can be seen, went and rang the bell, one at a time the, others off to a side out of sight of the door, and then finally Kalmer and I rang the bell once each, leaving about 10 minutes in between rings, I think maybe we could get him to forget to lock the door," under her breath she adds "with a little help from a spell my father taught me." "I'm not sure if it will work, but it is a starting point, and maybe someone else has a better plan?"

“Sure you can have some tobacco” Baba says passing the bag to Kalmer.

Seem like you all had a terrible day, well look on the bright side it can only get better.

Perhaps we could ask either the Landlady or the bar keeper for some assistance.

It wouldn’t harm to ask, would it?

Tiax sits down on the other side of Baba and whispers...

"You allright, Baba-John? You look a bit... erh............. troubled" If he hides it, he will do that for a reason Tiax thinks.. He will tell in due time. "If you need something just ask someone we are happy to help.... Besides a troubled leader is no good :) ".

"Ah barman some boiling water please"

Tiax mixes the water with some of his herbs. (21 leafs Rancer left)

OOC> What's the plan?

On Topic

The barkeep is not surprised that the person who supposedly perates the museum has said it is closed.

"Old Fardeep took the job to have somewhere cosy to rest. I doubt if he gets many visitors and is too lazy to let in anyone else. I doubt if you'll be able to do anything short of burn a hole in the door. Pity there's no such thing as magic."

The barkeep laughs.

The choice is yours.................................

We can use magic, bribery, if T’Skar and Ara have to dance naked in front of him, so we see the sword, so be it....................

I’m off to bed now after a bit of Oblivion. On the way to my room I’ll stop off at the landlady of Honeycomb Heaven and ask her if she can help us.

Raising her eyebrow a little at Baba's suggestion, T'skar turns to Ara and says "Actually, as gruff as he seemed, I'm sure he would rather Baba dance naked for him." Smiling at the thought and then giving a little shudder, she says "Why don't we meet at the museum tomorrow morning at 9:00. Maybe a good night's rest will help Fardeep's attitude. I'm sure he will see things differently in the morning, and that would give me time to do some shopping incase we leave on the afternoon boat." She orders stew and an ale, with dark bread and proceeds to eat.

When the others have left, she says to Kalmer in a low whisper for his ears only "I'd like to get to the museum at 8:00, unseen, so if you could open outer door of our fine establishment about 6:30, that should give me lots of time to make my way there concealed. Tell the others I'll meet you there."

After a good night's rest, T'skar rises early and washes in the bason in her room. Putting on her traveling clothes, she gathers everything out of her room and puts it in her pack. Slinging the bag over her shoulder, she concentrates on the magic her mother taught her, and conceals herself from view. Taking one more look around the room to make sure she has left nothing behind, she listens at the door to the hall, and when it is clear exits and makes her way quietly down stairs to the main door. When Kalmer opens the door, she slips through with a quiet "See you there." And then makes her way quietly to the museum, making sure she is not leaving any noticable tracks. Once there she waits until 8:00 and then rings the bell.

ooc> I will await a reaction before posting more.

After fifteen minutes Fardeep appears, opening the door just a crack. The doesn't even look to see who is ringing the bell.

"Museum's closed!"

He goes to slam the door again.

Sael "Oh, the inn yes, good idea, i suppose it was a bit optimistic to hope for large banners saying nuicance artifacts here"

(returns to pub)

"Thats a good idea, however if it doesn't work we could just stick a staff in the doorway so he cant shut it, yes i know its rude but its the safety of the world at risk, an we can always apologise to him later... Or we could watch the building to see when people go out to shop for food they must at some point, and then sneak in."

"Whichever you prefer." He rests back in the chair and relaxes

(In the morning he'll get up and go with any others to the museum)

ooc>Is it ok to see the door open and hear him say his usual, when T'skar knocks? if so...

Sael will say to Tskar and the others "may i have a go"

ooc> Assuming others don't mind

He Hammers on the door loudly and call "Open this door at once, This is official buisness!!" *Tries to sound self importand and officious*

if the door is opened even a crack he'll jam his staff in doorway to stop it shutting again. "I'm on official buisness..."
