LE Digging a hole - caveish home

Yesterday I came up with an idea that I haven't seen other people come up with, so here goes.

 

I came to think of the dwarves as being masters of carving out homes in rocks, and how it could be cool if the dovahkiin could somehow discover a lost guide on carving out said home.

 

The way I think it could be done, is that you get a pickaxe, maybe even a special one that you have to craft yourself, from obscure materials.

 

Then you get a marker that will place a "stone mine" on the ground, representing the spot where your entrance will be. Once you have worked for a long time, to empty that "mine", you will have an entrance into a a small house, the size of the basic hut in hearthstone. Maybe a re-skinned dark brotherhood door, could be the door into that house.

 

Once inside, I picture there being a number of expansion "slots", all containing such a "stone mine", and when emptied, will give you pathways for more rooms etc. The style is of course like in Markath, so the beds will be made of stone. There should be a stone fireplace, stone shelves, stone chest etc. But common for all of it, is that you have to "mine" in order to remove excess stone, and then finally carve out the item or room in question. We probably also should include a lot of dwarven metal and perhaps wooden stability beams of some sort.

 

The entrance should hardly be visible, unless you know exactly where it is (sounds very dwarven, does it not?).
