Adding or moving a Bed to Middle of Room

Every home I have has the bed stuck in a corner (or the mods don't recognize the bed as mine). How do I add a bed in the middle of my home (so I can get a good view of the gal I'm fixing to Bop)? Also, why do some mods not recognize a bed as mine (or not comfortable); for instance, in places such as Arefu Expanded, Bunker 72, the hideout near Super Duper Mart, etc.? What I want to do is drop a bed in the middle of the living room of my Megaton House, and somewhere in the wide open space of Bunker 72...Help.

Make sure the bed is a furniture type object and not a static one. Edit the bed in the render window and set the ownership to the player. Outside of modifying the navemaesh around the bed, that should do it.
