So I guess the best place to start is the beginning. I was married in Skyrim, but my husband had disappeared randomly at one point, and nothing I did would seem to bring him back. He was a mod spouse, so I didn't have a reference id.

I used console commands and proceeded to marry some random person to make sure that it everything was in working order, but while wedding went fine, and him asking was no problem, there is no after marriage dialogue. I've tried several different spouses, both male and female, but it's all the same, after the wedding they go about acting normal, no dialogue will pop up unless they used to be a follower. I'll get lines like "Huh? Need something?" or "It's a fine day with you around" depending on who it is I married.

How would I go about fixing this? I've tried going back to a previous save, but that didn't work either. The only thing that has happened even remotely marriage related is that I do get the inheritance if my spouse dies. Other than that, they go back about their normal lives like nothing happened.

The problem I have, unfortunately, that just goes away after the marriage of the spouses ...

You MUST just after the wedding fast dialogue INTERRUPT, by pressing the "E" button and a new dialog begin! Then you can clarify normal, where do you live with a spouse want. Seems to be a bug, I've had so with all my chars and also solved.

You have to stop just press fast enough;-)

Memory BEFORE the wedding from a NEW SAVE, which should be helpful. ^ ^
