haywud
I just recently bought Oblivion Game of the Year, and Knights of the Nine for the DLC. I haven't had any problems until I went into the castle at Kvatch. There are areas within the castle where some of the textures just seem to turn solid gray. So far I haven't seen this happen in any other place but the Kvatch castle. My video card is a Radeon HD4850 and I can run the game pretty well on max settings, my fps rarely drops below 40 most of the time and can jump up fairly high in certain areas. I'm wondering what could be causing this. I have a few mods installed including HGEC Body and Natural Faces, the rest you'll see in my load order. I'll also include some screenshots. glitched:http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/9712/glitchcj.png normal:http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/8809/normalb.png load order:Oblivion.esm DLCShiveringIsles.esp Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch.esp DLCHorseArmor.esp DLCOrrery.esp DLCVileLair.esp DLCMehrunesRazor.esp DLCSpellTomes.esp 1masamune.esp R18PN - Lingeries.esp DLCThievesDen.esp DLCBattlehornCastle.esp DLCFrostcrag.esp Knights.esp CuteElf11.esp HGEC Boots.esp Sephiroth.esp
bben46
What did you do different to get the normal screenshot? It looks like a missing mesh. I see you have the unofficial SI patch, but not the unofficial Oblivion patch. Unlike the official patches, the unofficial ones (they are really not patches, but mods) they have different content and will work together. Try the Unofficial Oblivion Patch first, as it does fix many small bugs in the Oblivion part of the game.http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5296
haywud
I simply just had to move the camera around to get the different screenshots. Seemed like looking at the messed up objects from different angles determined how they appeared. I did try the Unofficial Oblivion Patch, and it seems to have solved the problem. I just wish I noticed the Unofficial Oblivion Patch earlier, or I would have already had it installed. I seem to have quite a few conflicting files listed in OBMM now, but hopefully it won't affect anything. Thanks for your help. :thanks:
