Playable Wolverine Mod

Firstly, I know about TheOneness's mod located here. While that is a good mod, I would like to reboot a wolverine, and the mod author seems FAR from active. I think starting from scratch would be best, and am in need of assistance from a modder with much more skill than I.

 

My ideas for a playable wolverine:

 

1: "I am the Wolverine" trait option in Doc Mitchel's family history report.

 

Taking this trait will give you a few major benefits including:

health regeneration (1 health per 5 seconds, and yes, it is stackable with the monocyte breeder),

limb regeneration (1 health per 10 seconds),

a perception, strength, and endurance boost of +1,

Bone Claws weapon (will describe in detail later),

and a new outfit similar to Hugh Jackman's version of Logan.

 

The downside of this trait is:

a charisma and luck penalty of -2 applied directly to your special stats (so with the appropriate intense training, you can make it up),

a permanent alcohol addiction, (maybe?)

and all chems and drinks in the game (including stimpacks) have HALF the effect they normally would.

 

2: Bone Claws

 

an unarmed weapon that when sheathed, disappears altogether. When activated, there would be a tiny animation of claws sliding out from between the Currier's knuckles.

 

damage of 15 with a dps of 29. There is no weight, and obviously, it cannot be dropped/stored/sold/etc.

 

3: The Adamantium Skeleton perk would also increase your DT by 10.

 

4: In Jacobstown, there would be a scientist (only appears if the trait is chosen) who would send you on a quest, fighting hordes of new enemies as you try to compete for the very limited resource of adamantium that has been found in the mountains surrounding jacobstown. You would supply the scientist with the rare metal, and he would allow you to undergo the bone transformation, ultimately ending with you getting adamantium claws (completely replacing your bone ones). You would also automatically receive the Adamantium Skeleton perk, if you haven't previously chosen it.

 

the Adamantium claws would be extremely similar to the bone claws in functionality, but of course, appear metal.

 

The damage would be 52 with a dps of 105. Again, no weight, and cannot be dropped/stored/sold/etc.

 

 

 

 

 

Those are the main ideas for the mod I have so far. If any skilled modders are wanting to undergo this task, I offer my services as a writer and a foreman, but either way, I would love to see this mod on the nexus very soon. Thanks again!

i was more so thinking u could find a book that gives the the claws. BUT thats not all. it starts u a new life for u (in a matter of speaking like u always had claws) and at some point in te game ppl try to capture u and try to turning ur bones into that and give u the same things the real wolverine had to deal with to get out and and and stuff.. xD (basically gives u the ability for ahole new quest in the game. xD

 

i dont see y the charming would do down since he in gen always had high charming (from what i could tell..) and because u had auto heal (he heals fast) when u have the claws out ur healing factor is reduced to like gaining 1 or more points every sec vs 10 or 20 a sec. since there keeping him from bleeding out with his claws out..
