Zade43
You know what I'm talking about if you've played Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. If you don't, well then here's a couple of links. http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars...lkerCloseUp.jpghttp://img515.imageshack.us/img515/9578/swtfu008ql4.jpghttp://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars...rmor-TFUUSE.jpg It would require a Modeller and possibly an animator... Unfortuneately I have none of those skills so I'm just throwing this out there. I know that there is one in progress for Jedi Knight Academy, but as I said it's still in progress. Would love to see this in Dragon age but I bet that everyone else is busy with their own thing.
Kabukiman2087
i agree i think it would be awesome...kinda suprised no one made a lightsaber mod yet...hmmm
w00teh
Actually people have, it's just that noone has publicly released mods with custom meshes... As for armor, i've tried to put it in, but the exporters/importer tools so far aren't at the stage where it's possible to put in skinned meshes, static objects like swords, shields and etc work fine. Kabukiman2087
i wonder why. i would love to have lightsabers in this. unfortunately im not talented enough to make one myself. i wish some one would upload one.
Zade43
So going by what you said Deceptive, is that the model basically has to has one texture in it for the importer to read it correctly, right? Or am I even more lost...
w00teh
No, its just that it refuses to import skinned meshes properly (Armor, Body Replacers, Clothing) anything else like Lightsabers, Swords, Shields work fine, and as i recall someone was working on a lightsaber, i'm not too interested in SW gear for DA so i haven't tried that, the other problem is that DA handles glow differently to other games, so trying to import it a lightsaber mod made for Oblivion would at least require a new glowmap. Heralding
Apart from the laser sword I find the idea great! the equipment is slightly scary and would fit so great to evil characters, I would be a modder, I would insert it into the game!
Zade43
Eh that sucks. Hopefully there will be some sort of workaround or fix later on. I'm not really too fussed about the saber, just the armour is what I'm keen to see. Ah well, maybe in another couple of months.
