ineedanamethatworks
just a quick question about fomm and fose if i use fose do i have to use fomm beacause in fose you have like the same thing in it right?
SpeedyB64
FOMM is just used to activate and manage mods, it does not modify the game itself at all. FOSE modifies the game to allow for more complex mods. When you install FOSE, FOMM detects it and will make the game start with FOSE when you start the game with FOMM. You can start the game with FOSE without FOMM but you need to use the FOSE loader shortcut, and that's inconvenient. In other words: The FallOut Mod Manager (FOMM) allows you to move mods up and down in the load order. It also includes a bunch of tools for use in modding. The FallOut Script Extender (FOSE) modifies the game on startup to allow mods to use more commands in there code. FOMM is a window that you manage mods with while FOSE is a program that starts with fallout and extends its functionality (It has no windows or anything). I hope that makes sense o_O :D
