Kod Flame
Is there such thing as a mod that allows you to edit the armour value of different pieces of armour? I really need it for all my modded stuff that is way too overpowered :wallbash: If not, is it possible to just go into the CS and change it myself? Also, while I'm asking, is there such a mod that allows you to toggle the light effect on yourself? I really like the ring of happiness, but the light it gives off is just plain annoying at times. Gattsu05
Ya you can use the CS to edit armor and weight values as well as the enchantments on items such as the light on your ring.
Kod Flame
Alright, sounds good  Is it a hard thing to do in the CS? Anyone care to explain how it is done? I have no modding experience and haven't even downloaded the CS yet

Drag and drop the ESP of whatever mod you're changing right onto the icon. There's a menu on the righ tside, has options that expand, such as Items, Miscellaneus, Magic, etc. Expand Items, expand the sub category Armor, find you mod-added armor (this may take some time) right click it, selesct EDIT (or just double click) and voila! All the values, enchantments, etc, are right there. Changing it is as easy as putting in a new number.
Kod Flame
Alright, I took your advice and installed the CS. It's pretty complicated, but I followed your instructions and it's not so bad  My only question: Once I edit the armour, what then? Do I have to save it as an .esp and activate it? It didn't seem to work when I did it. Am I supposed to overwrite the old esp file with the armour in it?

Past that, I have no idea what's going wrong.
Kod Flame
Aha, figured it out. I tried to make a new ESP because I thought over-writing the old one would mess things up, but changing the original esp is the only way. Thanks for the help. It is really painful to have a bunch of armour that I can't use because it's too overpowered or the wrong armour type. This is a life saver
