Zavrian
Yeah, so I'm one of those guys with lots of ideas but no toolset (or the courage to experiment with it). I don't know how hard it woud be to impliment, but here goes anyway. Warning, long post. ---- DA: O Sranya (Reaver NPC) Joins you if you side with Kolgrim and poison the ashes. Once the PC has done so and drinks the blood Kolgrim gives (thus unlocking the Reaver specialization for the player), Kolgrim will introduce her to you. She is a Fighter with the Reaver specialization, and already has the first two abilities learned (Devour and Frightening Appearance). She is a two weapon wielder, and already has all four abilities of the first Dual weapon skill branch (Dual Weapon Training, Finesse, Expert, and Mastery). She comes equipped with unremarkable armor and no helm, but she wields a lightning enchanted axe (with a second open slot for further enchantment) and an acid enchanted mace. A loyal follower of the Dragon Cult of the "Risen" Andraste, she is romanceable only by a male PC who can convince her of his faith in the "Risen" Andraste. She understands that he cannot announce that faith openly to all and sundry (while fanatic, she is no fool and would not wish Haven to suffer an Exalted March), but this will not stop her from quietly and surreptitiously trying to spread the word of the Cult to those who will listen; indeed, this is her personal quest. Having Sranya in the party means that Brother Genetivi will be killed, unless the party sent him home instead of leading them to the mountain top. In which case Sranya will urgently suggest it in Denerim. Sranya can find potential converts amongst the poor and dispossessed, particularly in Denerim (most notably in the Alienage). With the PC's help, she can convert at least five people to the Cult, most notably a mage of the Circle Tower and a disaffected, lonely and doubting Chantry priest in Denerim. If she converts at least five people (or a male PC has successfully romanced her, or both) then she can persuade Kolgrim to send his remaining followers as one of the armies for the final battle. Sranya's first interaction with any party member is to attempt to convert them to the Cult, which always fails (and in the case of Zevran, Morrigan, Oghren, Sten or Shale is especially hilarious). Beyond that, she and Wynne will viciously snipe at each other, Alistair mocks her, she gets along reasonably well with Morrigan (unless they are romantic rivals for the PC, in which case look out below!), and finds Shale fascinating. Shale, in turn, endures Sranya with relative patience. Sranya will completely dominate Leilana in any theological argument. If Leilana is hardened, however, they become civil. Sranya is otherwise ambivalent in party interactions. This assumes Wynne and Leilana survive the chain of events that led to Sranya joining in the first place, of course. The....potential later party member is considered cunning but unworthy by Sranya. That individual is likewise dismissive of her. While more overtly evil than Morrigan, Sranya will not actively encourage the player to make evil choices regarding the major quests unless doing so would in some way benefit the Cult. She will, however, give a plus two approval for encouraging the Werewolves to slaughter the Elves, and plus one approval for siding with Branka. A romanced Sranya will allow Morrigan's ritual to occur with a male PC, if spoken to about it beforehand, though she will make it clear in no uncertain terms that the survival of "Andraste's Knight-Champion" is the only reason she is allowing it. A romanced Sranya will remain with the PC (and continue to seek converts). An unromanced Sranya will return to Haven with her new disciples. Sranya's first "crisis point" is whether she joins or not. If the mod is installed and the PC refuses to help Kolgrim, then Sranya will be an additional attacker and use her two existing Reaver abilities in the fight, whether that fight happens in the caverns or on the mountain top, thus making either battle that much more difficult. Her second crisis point is if she is romancing a male PC and he does not tell her about Morrigan's ritual before performing it. In which case it will take high cunning indeed to stop her turning on the PC. If at any time the PC kills Kolgrim, this is naturally a crisis point and Sranya turns on the PC. Sranya likes gems, and the same gifts Morrigan does (except the ones that are plot sensitive to Morrigan, the mirror and grimoires.) If Sranya lives, romances the PC, acquires sufficient converts and Brother Genetivi is killed, the the Urn of Sacred Ashes is never found, but the Cult of the Risen Andraste spreads beyond Haven, with the PC and Sranya at their head (with Kolgrim's blessing, naturally). The Chantry declares an Exalted March but cannot wipe them out, and only manages to hold the heresy in check. The Cult continues indefinitely, and the Reaver fighting style spreads throughout Ferelden and eventually all Thedas, further and wider than the influence of the Cult itself. If Sranya lives, acquires sufficient converts, and Brother Genetivi is killed, but she does not romance the PC, then the Cult remains in Haven but quietly continues to recruit the odd dissident and poor person or two as the years go on, sustaining the Cult at more or less constant numbers. The Urn of Sacred Ashes is never found. If Sranya lives, but fails to acquire sufficient converts and/or Brother Genetivi lives, then the Chantry eventually finds the Cult and destroys them in a pitched battle that, while not quite an Exalted March, is certainly a noteworthy moment in Chantry history. The Dragon, however, destroys the Urn, not to mention a fair number of Chantry and Templar. The ferocity that Sranya and Kolgrim display in the final battle that claims their lives alarms the Chantry to the point that Reavers are thenceforth hunted in the same manner as Blood Mages. If Sranya dies, the default Urn endings are restored.
MythMirage
Late as all hell to this conversation, but having just stumbled across this post I have to say... this is something I would both love, and probably pay for. Pity it would, more than likely, be hell to create and implement. Still... I wish it was possible.
SilverAxe001
There is already a mod that makes Sten a Reaver.
