CTD Issue.. need help.. from a scripter..

Okay.. So i made a mod that adds hollowpoint and armor piercing rounds... and poisoned dart tips, for each "gun". Bullet firing gun at least.

The truth of the matter is its all just duplicated ammo with a different ID and name, and duplicated weapons with very slightly adjusted damage. (3 points, 4 points. Most was 5 points) more damage. The ammo was slightly more expensive though.

I scripted each weapon so that when you equip them, a messagebox asks you which ammo type you want to use. Clicking hollowpoint will remove the normal gun, give you the hollowpoint shooting gun, and equip it. It will only ask if you have more than 0 ammo.

It was successful and agonizing work because I kept forgetting the darned ID's for the messageboxs, which to use where, blah. After a lot of trial and error getting used to FO3 messagebox layout (there were a lot needed for this..) and making sure all weapons were perfectly equal but opposite of their counterparts. The switch worked!

On any weapon, i tried on sniper, and assault first..

It asks, which weapon, makes the switch and equips it..

Problem is it also equips a nice CTD.

Wierd thing is is when you switch ammo, it THEN CTD's, and then immediantly goes back to gaim, but causes a window "Suddenly crashed. Sorry for invconvinience" and crap. Then if you do anything other than shoot or run it freezes.

Basically:

Make switch

CTD

Instant maximization of crashed window

Pop up "End program now"

Freeze game

Can not minimize no matter what required restarted computer

I was trying to keep the general idea not known publically until uploaded but can someone please help me out? IDK why it's doing this but i have a feeling its because

Add 2 item

Remove 1 item

Equipt 2 Item.

part of the script. Anyone willing to help ill upload via megaupload.com the file and send you the link. You can take a look, or if you already know can tell me whats up. I spent a great deal of annoyed stress over getting lost in all the many ID's that were had. I double and triple checked each script to ensure everything was exactly as it should be, and they are. Even if not, it should not matter if some IDs were mixed up. all it would do is function differently rather than how it should, but the script would function 100% as told, not crash because of unknown variables unable to be matched.

Be well, sleep well, fight well, live long.
