Booze!

(WIP, done within a week)

I've decided to put my other mod on hold for the moment, in favor of something a bit smaller in scope. That being said, this will be the first mod I will upload to the Nexus.

-

Ole' Frank Yardley just about had DC's booze trade under his thumb. Working out of a small, unremarkable homestead in a far corner of the district, Frank somehow managed to produce vast quantities of his own special, home-made brews. His stuff was snappy, addictive and packed a major wallop, and having grown tired of the standard, factory-made crap, the public eagerly caught on. Frank's ever-growing array of customers got filthy stinking drunk, and Frank himself got filthy-stinking rich.

And then the bombs fell, and nobody was drinking much of anything for awhile.

Surprisingly enough, however, Frank's sturdy little homestead has endured over two-hundred years of apocalyptic weathering, and is still standing to this day. This is where you come in. Your search will begin in the Muddy Rudder, as you read an anonymous inquiry about a strange-looking building out in the marsh, and will end in the depths of Frank's fabled brewery cellar.

In short, this mod is part scavenger hunt and part house mod. When you find Frank's house out in the Wastes, you'll find that it's locked. The bulk of the quest will concern your search for the key (clues will be supplied in the form of notes and letters, of course). When you do find it, Frank's house, and all that's inside it, will be yours.

If your character happens to be a raging alcoholic, this quest will be for you. This quest will not leave you empty-handed in the end, as there's a reason his house and back shed are locked. I'm also aiming to include a functional Moonshine Still, so you don't have to trudge back and forth to and from Point Lookout. There are no custom items/textures here, but there are a few edited versions of vanilla items for a little variety.

What I'm trying to do here is put what I've learned so far about GECK to some decent use. I want to see if I can make a halfway-decent mod, and if other people are able to successfully work with it as well. It's not completely finished yet, but should be done within a week.

Suggestions?
