PROBLEM WITH FOSE

Hi.

I've been playing Fallout 3 for a long time and was thinking about getting some new mods.

And for that i needed to install FOSE and other stuff.

After i did that i launched the FOSE launcher to play my new mods, but when i puched the load button my save file was gone.

And i wonder if i can get it back or if i have to start all from the start?

Check your Fallout 3 folder to make sure the saves are still there (just in case).

Directory (on XP at least): My computer - Documents - My games - Fallout 3 - Saves.

If you don't find any files in that folder, then your saves are probably gone.

If your files are wiped of the disk, you could try and use Handy recovery to get it back. (It should still have a free version.)

As long as your disk isn't full it'll have a chance that you can retrieve it at, as jaosals said, that fallout save-location.

If you used GFWL then your saves were created in a subdirectory of your Saves folder. However, FOSE disables GFWL, and Fallout 3 only looks in your Saves folder when you are not logged into GFWL. You need to find the subdirectory in which your saves have been placed and move them into your main Saves folder.

If you're running Fallout 3 on Windows Vista, your Saves directory can be found at:

C:\Users\Your Username Here\Documents\My Games\Fallout3\Saves
