ChrisChaos777
 Thank you for your assistance and I apologize for the late reply. Alright so I have taken these steps so far. Installed Fallout 3 to this file path : C:\Games\Fallout 3 I ran the launch (crossed my fingers) aaand got the same issue. oh darn. So next I looked to see what exact model my graphics card was. (which is AMD HD 7800 Series, 7870 to be exact) Now I ran the detection for Intel drivers. (Installed Java as well so they would run correctly) Intel tells me the product is AMD HD 7800 Series, Driver is 13.251.0.0, and it also says that "This device, is unknown or unsupported contact the manufacturer for possible updates - More information>>" Next I ran the AMD check with the link provided I see a tab for graphics hardware which shows my Radeon HD 7xxx Series PCIea tab that shows my operating system (Windows 8 64-bitAND it also shows a tab that says, "The best driver for this device is 14-4-win7-win8-win8.1.1-64-dd-ccc-whql.exe" This is followed by a download now button on the right side of that Ok now time to run the NVIDIA detection link provided My results: "The NVIDIA Smart Scan was unable to evaluate your system hardware. Please use Option 1 to manually find drivers for your NVIDIA products"
Purr4me
ok, repeat the test but this time do so with the graphics card removed, run with the built in vga or digital extended device, allow windows to install the standard device drivers, there is no base data on the hard drive or in the registry of that system for the scanner to detect. on the back of the PC, there should be 2 ports coming off of the main mother board it's self, these are built in VGA graphics. The system was built to run those. It is you whom has changed what the companies software can not find ,and as well, the games software too. NOTE: any onme not owning an intel mother board, "DO NOT RUN INTELS DEVICE SCANNER ON YOUR MACHINE !" I warn about this because it accesses the main processor and GPU cores. Intel is not AMD, or visa versa. BSOD will take place if you dare.----------------------------ok, what may be required before installing anything is to set the machine to defaults. Your add on video card is not default so the OS does not know this. It will install the correct basic drivers when you remove the card and set it back to default....on reboot. run the series I set forth now and you will get a different result. post the result. Keep in mind, I am not there so I depend on your input here to know what is required.kitty
