Endermod
Can anyone please say something positive? Why don't you start getting your hands dirty by developing a Skyrim or Oblivion mod with some of the features you plan for your game Using vanilla and modders resources you don't have to deal modeling and texturing. And dont have to spend any money. Just your own time. Start with a small, one-man, one-month project. Then go to a six-month project. After this time you can check if this is really what you like to do (I did this and I am 5.5 years, probably 3,000 to 5,000 hours into my project and loving each minute of it) Might do just that. Thanks. Edited May 25, 2014 by Endermod
Endermod
I basically just changed the games whole setting. I think it's for the better. :)
Chaophim
One other thing that you can do is write - do up your game idea in a short story of about 100 pages or so, just to give a more visceral glimpse at the world you're envisioning beyond just a short synopsis blurb. I know you can't *code* quests, but writing one being done out in prose would give people an idea of what to expect in-game.
