lsatblu
Hi all, this project looks great. I was wondering if you considered to createthe mod for fo3 instead because the graphics are newer and there are already guns in game. I see it being very hard to create that aspect of the modfor ob. There weren't really any spells that I can remember which would make ob the obvious choice to mod for.
philcollins
No i don't think they are not going to do everything they just did for fallout 3. And what the hell do you mean by "There weren't really any spells that I can remember which would make ob the obvious choice to mod for"? If you want fallout 3 mods then go to fallout 3 nexus or just don't be on the nexus at all.
kalub_fowler
Hey guys. The board is coming together. Working on the board map right now. Going to do the coding and skin soon as well. I am downloading the Avatar game for PC right now so I might get a little side-tracked! Lol. Has anyone begun work designing weapons, clothing, armor, etc? I have a lot of ideas in my head, with no means to actually do them. As i cannot do meshes .... But I was thinking of sketching out items, texturing them in photoshop and then submitting them to you guys and we can choose which ones we want to be be created for Operation Pandora. I am an amazing designer, just cannot actually create the damn things.

FO3 is an idea i have it but never really played it much at all may look into that later we are sticking with Oblivion however
robertkor
fo3 is much more demanding to work with and reqires a whole diferent modding aproach than oblivion does, in oblivion we have several meshes we can retexture and fiddle with in the CS to the extent of my Fo3 knolllage it does not have a construction set to use, i do not have the game so im not 100% sure since 90 percent of the team members so far (voice actors excluded ) have oblivion we figure why not make it in obliv. --------------------------------- @kal thanks again for the help, send some textures my way when you finish them. i cant modle any plants because blender hates me but i have made a bow before just didnt know how to get it into nifskope to texture it. ---------------------------------- the current area under design is only a test area and is NOT THE ACTUAL MAP it is basicly a playground where we are figuring the distance , width, height and other such things that we will need to get down in order to get this a reality. the pathway to iknimaya is basicly alot of floating rocks that do have bottoms and we are currently figureing the distance to make it perfect for a navi sized person and possible for a regular person to make the jumps at well. it is not easy since the diferent height means they have diferent physics including dferent run speeds, jumping distance and colision meshes. robertkor
current update GIANT FLOATING LANDMASS HAS BEEN TESTED while not exactly as beutifull as what the real deal will be we now know that a: it is possible to greate a floating landmassb: you can land on it with a acatosh mount with plenty of room to sparec: there might be hidden stuff in the mountainsd: place plants / vines around the mountains to make it look more realistic what has yet to be seen a: if we can make waterfalls by spawning water in the mountains (help with this would be wonderfull, or at least a tutorial on spawning water outside of the standard below sea level method ) b: fix clipping make more realisitic i would upload a img right now but currently you need a acatosh mount to get up to the top of it and i am running vanilla obliv with just this mod to prevent any need for many outside mods or anything to be merged cheers trebor-Operation pandora

diederick77
"What I would be interested in reading would be some suggestions on the stats and attributes that a Na'vi race might have"So lets brain storm what Stats and Attributes and maybe even Abilities ? they should have *toggle Night eye*? I don't think night eye would be necessary, given the whole glowing flora (in case it will be included), and the Na'vi skin and whatnot. I think it is a good idea, if you pick the Na'vi race, that you have infinite night eye as racial power.I mean, they can see very good at night, so this would be perfect as detail.
