The game will play for the first 10 minutes (although after I added the mods, it starts to lag when I move from place to place, even in the same area. help with that would be appreciated as well, but the real reason im posting is that after 10 minutes a blue screen of death flashes for a split second, then the computer reboots. I have the load order, and the mods im currently using in an exported list by FOMM. if you see something, help me out! thanks guys. p.s. joey2176 Posted December 21, 2009 Share Posted December 21, 2009 First you need to move all of your ESM's to the top of the list so they load before your esp's. Make sure you have the Geck updated to 1.5 and you are using the latest FO3 patch 1.7. Download and install the latest versions of the following utilities. Fallout mod manager. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=640 FOSE http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8606 FO3 Edit http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=637 Miax's great tutorial. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8629 Learn how to run master update by reading Miax's tutorial. joey2176 Posted December 22, 2009 Share Posted December 22, 2009 I have never lost a save game from using any of the mentioned utilities. Make sure you have them installed correctly. The exe files and such should be extracted to your Fallout3 folder, this is the one before your data folder. Then you should be able to launch the game through FOMM via the FOSE button after running Master update. You may also want to create a merged patch with FO3Edit first, then run Master update. zephyr89 Posted December 29, 2009 Author Share Posted December 29, 2009 after doing the master update, the game no longer blue screens anymore. It will load, and play alright, until I die. If I hit escape to bring up the menu before it autoloads the previous save game, or whether I wait for it to autoload, It will freeze up.
