scagun Posted December 20, 2009 Share Posted December 20, 2009 Hi, Every time I encounter a Deathclaw or a Talon Company Merc, Fallout 3 would just suddenly crash to desktop. If I load a save game near them then it would crash immediately. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I disabled all mods but it still persists. Thanks in advance! pkleiss Posted December 21, 2009 Share Posted December 21, 2009 Most likely, you have corrupt saves from when you had mods loaded. It is highly likely that any save you load that was made when you had the mods loaded will be corrupt at this point. This will include saves made after removing the mods as well. I don't know if this will work, but you can try to go to an empty interior cell, wait 3+ days, save, exit game to desktop, restart game, load the save, go into wateland and find a deathclaw. I'll try finding an empty cell and waiting 3 days, and see if it crashes. EDIT: Thanks for the help! It worked! I went to Old Olney and found some Deathclaws, (which sliced me up in a few seconds) and it didn't crash! Thanks for the help,! really appreciate it!
