jaosals42
If on a mod an author states that the location of the mod's contents is secret and says they don't want others giving away information on the forums of the location of the mod itself, is it against forum rules to report such posts if someone goes against the author's wishes and posts the location of the mod's contents within the game? Maybe you should first PM the person who wrote the post and politely remind them of the mod's author's wishes and ask them to remove their post's contents. jaosals42
Only thing I'd be worried about in doing that is well it could be a flamer, or they just don't go on ahead and edit out their posts. Besides, a mod would most likely be on before they return to see the PM. But I still would like to know if this is allowed.

jaosals42
I'm just asking mainly because I was planning on uploading a mod where the location of the contents would be secret, and I wouldn't want people giving away its location - not that it has actually happened right now.
