zann3113
I have downloaded a couple of mods but none of them will detect when i go to start up. This is my first time moddin and i dont know what im doing wrong. I download the files and exctract them to data in the fallout 3 program files. When i go to start up it doesnt show any new mods or anything. Also on a side note there is no mesh or texture folders in the data folder there is only textures.bsa and meshes.bsa. So if anyone can help a giganoob it would be greatly appriciated. :thanks:

(I think) right click on fallout folder/properties/security/your username OR: install the game outside of c:program files (like C:games/fallout3) Textures and meshes folders come with the mods... Also you should install fallout mod manager. Link- Fallout mod manager

Branimirzg
No, but you must activate archive invalidation...In fallout mod manager use toggle invalidation button and click apply. Link- Fallout mod manager
