Crioca
I thought I'd put this out there as the original author has put the mod on indefinite hiatus due to IRL issues. Does anyone want to create a successor mod to this? Not exactly the same of course, but similar functionality, i.e; - When you die, you respawn at the last shrine you visited, but(t) naked. - Your corpse (or some other container) rests where you died. - The next time you die, a new corpse drops and your old corpse despawns (along with any times you've not recovered) There's also some other things that I'd consider bonus functionality: - Quest marker on your corpse - Compatibility with Frostfall, Requiem, RND/iNeed - Followers & horses disband upon death - Enable respawning at daedric shrines - "hard mode" option to respawn at a random shrine - The ability to craft and place shrines - Anything else you want to add
Rulerian
If you died in a sucky place, what would stop you from simply reloading a saved game? O.o
Crioca
If you died in a sucky place, what would stop you from simply reloading a saved game? O.o Nothing, but why if you're just going to save scum, why download a mod that makes the game more difficult? o.O The serious answer is that a lot of players enjoy the challenge, adversity and and having meaningful consequences for your actions makes the gameplay so much more satisfying, adding real sense of suspense. skyrimguyxx
OP must play alot of warcraft. Honestly, if your half decent of a player this would actually reduce the challenge as you could just zerg your way through more difficult dungeons. Dying, and then respawning to continue exactly where you left off. I always hated in D2/3 and WOW that if you die you can do that, with almost no consequences. I did play a lot of warcraft back in the day but I don't think you've understood the point of the mod; you wouldn't respawn exactly where you left off, you'd respawn at whatever shrine you last visited, which might be on the other side of the map. Gussak
add to it full MCM support with everything possible optional! if I am not wrong, it seems the author of the original mod allowed it to be reused/improved and released by anyone! so could someone do it please? skyrim is so boring... had to add requiem, frostfall, EK_LimitedItems, LivingTakesTime and many other mods that make the game harder.
