McLambo
Hi All, First of all, I would like to say that allthough I have a very large amount of MODS enabled in Oblivion, I have a quite throrough system of creating backups, and I keep a log of all Mods installed. However, 1 bug slipped through, and it's a rather irritating one. I thought I'd mention it here, perhaps someone recognized this and can help me out. The problem is that a lot of times when I enter a shop, my inventory pops up, and in there all loose items that are in the shop. As if I were 'opening' up the shop like a crate or barrel.Usually I can carefully close the inventory again, to prevent being arrested for stealing, but every now and then I forget, and I accidentally click something. Does anyone know what is causing this?
ptbptb
Does anyone know what is causing this? Sounds like some sort of harvesting/auto-loot mod. Unfortunately I don't recognize it.
McLambo
Hmm, I don't think so, as I deliberatly did not install any auto harvesting mods. Would it be possible for me to troubleshoot this in some way? This is the only bug I've come across so far, and I"m using close to a 100 mods, which were are carefully selected and checked for compatibility. Needles to say: a re-install is a last resort, because that will take me 30+ hours. Really hope someone could help me out
ptbptb
Needles to say: a re-install is a last resort, because that will take me 30+ hours.Ouch. Even with 100 mods, that's far too long. My top tips for cutting down re-install time are: 1. Take a clean copy of Data (after installing official patches but before installing any mods)This way you will rarely need to re-install Oblivion, even if you have to reinstall every mod.2. Save every mod download you use.3. Keep a list of which mods you've downloaded and where you downloaded them from (so you can get updates, info, etc.)4. Use OBMM for everything - even if you have to create the omod version yourself.5. Save the omod conversion data (just in case) That might not help you this time, but it should save you time if you ever have to do it again.
