A server in the UK?

What would be really great is if we could a have a download server in the UK.

 

At the moment with my already very poor internet connection on either one of your US servers I'm only getting 30 kb/s.

 

What would be really great is if we could have a server in the UK. I don't really know how much you would have to pay for this, but it would be greatly appreciated.

that might be possible some day, but we'd probably have the Nexus down for days at a time, and it would cost Dark0ne loads of more money than what he's paying right now. Remember, he pays for this site, with all it's mods, info, and members, out of his own pocket, and we need to respect everything he has given us that he really isn't obligated to provide us with.

I can't speak for GameHazard, but I live in the UK and the download speeds are fine for me.

There used to be some but the cost in the UK, is considerably higher than in the US. This is a monetary decision, and not a slight....and it does not matter where the server is located as there is a finite amount of available bandwidth.

 

Some servers will give you better speeds than another, check them all out. But I have found the texas servers to have the best speed. However the premium only server allows the use of download managers and accelerators....some find this and the other features worth the cost of premium membership.

I was aware that you would have to pay for the servers - but I live in the country, - the highest I've ever got is 120Kb/s and thats about twice a year... The lowest I get is 3Kb/s and thats about half of the year if you put it together. But, it comes down to what Dark0ne wants, it's not my decision.
