meyer189
Hello, i have bought Warden`s keep and got the stone prisoner with my game when i bought it. i installed both and played, beat the quest line without any bugs or crashes. then my computer crashed.... :wallbash: i managed to retreve the BioWare folder from C drive and then reinstalled both windows 7 and Dragon age:orgins, i then copy-paste my BioWare folder into my new C drive. Now when i play, in "installed content" it says that Warden`s keep is installed but is "Unauthorized" and stone prisoner isnt even there! i have tried the "fix" on the BioWare forum with the cd key, but to no avail. i am a bit fustrated that no one on BioWare tecnical support havent answerd my question though they guaranteed me answer in 24 hours and no its gone 6 days.... if anyone is able to help me here it would have bin wonderful though i thought that this insnt anything to do with befor BioWare has relesed a fix... :thanks: With best regards Meyer189 :)
Balagor
Did you check your Bioware folder if you have the Stone Prisoner folder?Name of folder "dao_prc_cp_2"Location:C:\Documents and Settings\My Name\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\AddIns
jwvanderbeck
With the paid DLC I don't think you can just copy the folder over. As you saw, it needs to be "authorized". I'm not positive how this works, but the latest DA patch says it added the ability to re-download previously installed DLC so I would just re-install it. allanm
On the Online tab of the Options screen, check the "download previously purchased content" box, and when you log in, the download and install will begin. From memory though, you'll have to do a clean install first - i.e. no "copy and pasted" folders. Best to uninstall, then reinstall, log in and all should proceed normally. I've done it twice so far..... (Don't ask!)
overload1977
there is a work around for getting all the DLC working without being online , but i dont know if i can tell you i had to work it out for a friend of mine who has the Dragon Age: Origins Collectors Edition..... he just moved before xmas and dose not have the internet untill the new year..... Note this is not officially supported by bioware., it is provided here only as a work around for folks who do not want to have a online profile Open folder "Dragon Agebin_ship" and double-click on "DAupdater.exe" 1. Click "Select DAZips" 2. Browse to the "DLC Add-ons" and select all of them. 3. Select all title in the list 4. Click "Install Selected" and wait until finished. 5. Browse to your document folder, and search for "DocumentsBioWareDragon AgeSettings" C:\Users\Users Name\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Settings is will be some where here 6. Open AddIns.xml with Notepad and search for "auth" 7. Change ALL occurrences of 1 to 0. 8. Save and exit. 9. Launch Dragon Age and check the Downloadable Content tab to see that they're installed. there you go this is top secret information this is why it`s hidden
