Taffee
Since I've downloaded the pack, I can only play about 5 minutes before a CTD. All was good before I did that so wondering how to disable the pack. Thanks!
kingtitan
Have you turned off the corresponding .esp's in your mod list? Edit: If that for whatever reason does not work, just delete the .bsa files from your data folder Edited May 13, 2014 by kingtitan
Osiiras
Open the launcher, click Data Files. There'll be three files, HighResTexturePack01, 02, and 03. Click the little boxes next to it, with the checks in it, and the checks'll go away. Then click Okay. This should disable it, I think. Try that. Edit: Like kingtitan said, if that doesn't work, delete the .bsa files. Edited May 13, 2014 by Osiiras
Taffee
Oh, thank you. I thought that was the other high res stuff that I've got. Figure that they're not playing nicely with each other.
kingtitan
That shouldn't be the reason for a CTD tho, as they are strictly texture replacers. What are your specs and your load order? Assuming your system can handle it (if you are running other hi res stuff) then the problem would either be in your load order or save game. chanchan05
Well, the High Res Packs eat up about 1.2GB of VRAM on their own. So if he has only a 1GB video card, or a 2GB one with many additional NPC mods or texture mods or so, it could indeed cause a crash.
