Problem with OBMM

I did a few google searches, couldn't find anything that related to my specific problem, though if it is around somewhere feel free to berate me. I downloaded OBMM and one mod; figured I would test it out before downloading anything else. I'm running Vista, and I am an administrator on my computer. I also ran the program as administrator, but whenever I attempt to activate the mod, I get the message:

"An error occurred while activating the mod. It may not have been activated completely. Error: Could not load file or assembly 'dotnetscript, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture = Neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. Failed to grant permission to execute. (Exception from HRESULT:0x80131418)"

I checked the FAQ that came with OBMM but couldn't find anything in there about it either. So I figured here might be the next place to look. Anyone have an idea on what to do?

Thanks,

Sogor

Side note: Originally posted in General Mod discussion, meant to put it here.

Edit: Checked to make sure I had the right version of .net on my computer: OBMM requires .net v2.0, and I have 3.5, I should be good there, right?

I installed it in the default location, C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda\Oblivion

Well, don't.

It should be probably installed somewhere like C:\Games\Oblivion

I know you said you ran in Administrator mode, but I still think it's a likely cause of problems.

Nope, still running into the same problem.

I realize I missed a vital question - what was the mod? It's just possible that it's a mod specific error.

Otherwise it would seem* to be down to a) security issues ('Trust' settings associated with .net??) or b) Mistake in the way OBMM was made., c) Problem in your .net installation.

Seeing as OBMM works just fine for lots of people in Windows 7 / Vista I suspect b) is unlikely. Similarly I daresay you use .net with lots of other stuff with no problem so a) would seem to be the most likely but I haven't had to mess with it myself.

* i.e. I've read a lot of pages linked from Google search results.
