Maybe It's possible to create a timed bomb - that spreads a happy, green & yellow cloud of radiation, that will make it possible to kill people in a silent and effective way. Radiation does not kill quickly enough to make a good tactical weapon. Even nuclear bombs rely on heat and blast for effectiveness, not radiation.
