Fritz_990
Could someone please tell me where to find mithril armor? Is mithril an award for a quest?
LordOverkill
You won't see it until you're a higher level, around 15 i think

MiNalien
hmm... 15... that's the same level McAsmod's werewolves start showing up (if the level doesn't change in Episode 2 in light of Oblivion's level scaling) >_>
loveme4whoiam
You mean its not actually sold in stores until you pass level 15? Damn, that's taking balancing a bit too far if you ask me. What if you are a gifted thief who wants some decent armour?
Iluventi
I got it really easily... buy doing the Fighters Guild quest (In Anvil) where you have to wait in a Merchant's Shop after dark for the thieves to come... and when they did, I ran outside, let the locals deal with the thieves (They were so enthusiastic about killing these randoms.) and I looted their bodies for Mithril armour! DEZLOC
if u really want good sneaky armor ( + sneaking ) you should consider joining the Dark Brotherhood as i've found out that if you always complete the bonus, you get some of the best gear (not just gold) IMO
loveme4whoiam
Indeed, that armour is excellent to the point of overpowering (but not quite :D). Question though - do you get a negative personality rating or anything when you put it on? I know there's no spell effect doing that but when I walked past a guard (not wearing the armour, which is what's wierd) he had a pop at me, something about "not wanting your filthy type here", just after I'd done the second DB mission. EDIT: Gah, hijack, oops. Back on track - Illuventi I take it that you were over lvl 15 when you did that quest, so the bodies had mithril on them, yes? Kiddiarni
The vampire hunter quest thingy in bruma ( I think, the snow city? ) is wearing mithril armor, at least when I did it. He also had a Elven Claymor.
