rogue7E
When a party member is injured, a red icon appears in his/her Inventory/Equipped Item window. When putting the cursor on the icon, you'll get a brief description of the injury. It might be a broken limb, a cracked skull, a puncture wound, etc. In the heat of battle, you can direct injured party members to use an injury kit when the kit is in the hot bar and the red icon above the hot bar is flashing. And, of course, when returning to camp all injuries are automatically healed. So, what's the point of having a Triage mod? I thought it would be fun to use a Triage window when you want to heal a party member after the heat of battle, without returning to camp and it wasn't absolutely necessary to use an injury kit during the battle. The member survived without too much of a fuss. I envision the Triage panel to work something like this: In the Inventory/Equipped Item window, you click on the red injury icon, thus bringing up the Triage window. You'd see the party member standing there in his or her undies. Whatever injury the icon states the party member has will be graphically portrayed in the Triage window. So, if the member had a missing eye, for example, it would display that way. There are many injuries that are already "canned" in the game and are revealed by the red injury icon, but perhaps there could be others as well. This would be something different in the game, a variation of what is presently there, but could break the boredom factor a bit by adding graphics for the injuries. BTW -- I have no idea how to create a mod, so I can't do this myself. Thanks for reading. I hope it tickles a modder's fancy.
