Hello im new here and i just started modding oblivion.

Anyway my problem is this. I made a mod that adds a item to my game and i tested it out and it worked fine but then it turns out i forgot to add a enchantment i wanted :wallbash: So then i went back in the construction set opened the oblivion.esm and my mod and i edit it to add the enchantment but when i hit save it makes it another .esp so i think "ok thats fine i will just enable them both" so i open omod enable them and start up oblivion and the new changes i made to the mod dont work. So i do another test add the enchantment i then click ok and then i look back at the item window thing and my enchantment is not there and it acts like it was never there.

Anyway long story short im asking these questions.

1.Can I edit a existing .esp without having to make another .esp if so how?

2.How do I make changes stick on a .esp

:thanks:

Just set your esp as active. there is "set as active" button below the mod list.

It will save changes on the "active file"
