help with main quest crash!!

when doing the main quest, on the great agte part, just after i switch sigil stones, when it goes to the spalsh swich screen, it crashes.

 

i have the following mods enabled in order:

you should use only one natural weather esp, depending on whether you have hdr turned on or not. have you tried taking the sigil stone only once or does this happen every time you do it? my game almost always crashes during the transition from oblivion to cyrodiil, but after restarting the game everything works just fine again.

ok, i installed and ran BOSS

 

i disabled HDR and AA

 

i lowered the resolution to the smallest

 

i updated my video drivers

 

i tried temp disabling the weather mods, but that just crashes thing before th save eve loads fully

 

i installed windomearle's (awesome nick btw, loved twin peaks) to no avail

ive no idea what or where the prefetch folder is. :confused:

if not, i guess ill forgo the main quest and just load an older save before the main gate quest started

I get little hiccups like this in my games all the time. Afraid to say that the solution I have isn't wearing white armor, I'm sorry.

 

New game. Delete anything to do with the old ones. X_X. Might have something to do with why I don't play too often anymore... Bben's signature, "Sometimes I think we spend more time getting Oblivion to work than we do playing it..." is too damn accurate it's scary. XD.
