Plague lord class

There is one thing bothers me with dragon age origins. Dragon age origins is quite dark and the darkest class they came up with is a Blood mage? Never thought of using the skills of a blood mage cause they seem kinda lame.

 

Here is my idea of a class:

 

"In order to defeat the blight become the plague." Wherever Plague lords are they cause fear. Plague lords are even more feared than magicans or abominations. Plague Lords are people who died from severe diseases and brought back to life with blood magic. The person recovers from the desease but the person will never be the same again. After such a treatment even dwarfs are able to use minor magic spells. Dwarfs are thanks to the lyrium in their bones have even more power than your average Plague Lord.

 

Skills and abilites:

x can transform himself in a swarm

x summons dire bear, insect swarm

x has a poisonous aura

x weakens enemies

x uses buffes to fight in melee combat

x poisons weapons

x detonate corpses

x parasite - when the enemie dies a new insect swarm appears

x Vampirism

x focus on two weapon fighting - preferred weapons dagger

x gets bonuses with robes, light armor is also ok but gets no bonuses

 

Prestige classes:

x Plague fortress adds buffs and abilities which increase live regeneration to survive a fight

x Plague tempest (can't think of a better name for now) Very fast fighting style with well directed attacks gets evasion lethality and deadly strike from the thief class and whirlwind for two weapon attacks.
