yeah I know what u mean as far as realisn, after all, lizardfolk, catpeople, magic... In medieval europe that would be the cue for a gang of angry peasants to form a lynch mob. I think u'r right about the hafted weapons thing, that would've been a nice touch, and I must conced u r right they are inertia weapons so I can see why they put them in the same class. As we know only get to choose 7 skills anyway I guess its kind of important that some of them have been rolled into one.

 

You might have already been aware of this, but there is a mod that changes almost every occurance of "blunt weapon" to "hafted weapon". Very nice fix, doesn't mess with game balance.

Ah, thanks for that, I didn't do any modding on morrowind, never quite got around to it, but I did think to myself that with oblivion I may make a few minor changes that don't mess with the balance, and thats definately one I'll consider. May stop me being quite so miffed as well...

Hey guys - here's some more questions that I hope you can help with (because I really should be studying, you know)

 

1.

Remember, these skill bonuses increase your starting skill, not the maximum. For example, I am an Imperial as a sneakier character, mainly because I could remake my face as an Imperial. Also worth noting is that every race has different attribute scores at the start.

 

Is this for sure? I read somewhere that these bonuses meant also adding to your max. possible skill - but that could've been fluff.

OK - that's the kindda stuff I would really like for people to post!! Maybe just give me a hand by posting your race's starting characteristics (pretty please?)

 

3. How about gender differences in stats like in morrowind - any of that - and if yes, what are they for the different races (I'm demanding I know.. hope someone'll help)

 

(I'm especially interested in Orcs, Redguards and Dark Elves - but other races' stats are welcome!! :D )
