Yet another companion mod, but I feel that it has genuine merit.

I have a vague, rough outline of what I believe could be a deep, and enigmatic companion mod, and one that is better than lots on the Nexus download site.

 

The Story So Far:

 

During a trip to the Broken Flagon Tavern south of the Imperial City, the player sits next to a strange character wearing a silver gauntlet on his left hand, but not his right. The man starts the conversation.

 

"It's funny, isn't it?" He says.

 

The player talks to him a while, about the topic of grandeur; what makes someone greater than someone else. He points out that unless he pointed it out, the player wouldn't have even noticed anyone else in the large, crowded tavern, because the player is destined for greater things, and he/she knows it. That there is no reason to pay mind to lower kinds, when more important matters are to be seen to.

 

 

Leyon is arrogant, slightly rude, and a bit blunt. However, after conversing with the player, he decides that traveling together would be his one way ticket to the higher life. He himself says, when asked whether he is one of the backdrops, or one of the higher peoples, that he is an in-between; that he is often blown off, and underestimated. But with a hero as a companion, he could escape this life, and live for adventure.

 

I have three main plot quests lined up so far, and I have left much of it vague because I believe anything that is co-written by two people is twice as good as written by a one man army. The three quests, and their brief description are:

 

 

 

The Isairan Gauntlet: After long, deep conversations, Leyon decides to confide in you about one of his dirty secrets. This is the most important and extensive quest of the three so far. He tells of a powerful magi whom he studied under years back, who bound a magic gauntlet to him permanantly as punishment for one of Leyon's actions.

 

The Broken Family Tree: After recieving news that his mother is dying, Leyon decides that it is time to seek out his family. Tensions between him, his brothers, and a fight between him and his sister caused him to leave his family in Leyawiin, but after being approached by the courier of the rich and powerful Isairan family, he must return home to give his mother his last words, and possibly work things out between him and his siblings.

 

A Fight Between Friends: After a major disagreement between the player and Leyon, which will take place when Leyon and the player are the closest of knit friends, Leyon erupts in a fit of rage and leaves the player. The player decides after a night's rest that things MUST be resolved, and embarks on a search to find Leyon.

 

 

 

Leyon as a character is designed to be "Chaotic Neutral", and I can do his voicing, as I have most of the proper equipment. I also can do a lot of the location designs, but I want to split the mod down whatever line is fair. Two writers are better than one, as I said.
