newvegasplayer1111
I have the exact same problem too. I have Windows 7 64 bit. I install FOMM in "C:\Program Files (x86)\GeMM". I am totally baffled as to why it doesn't run properly.
newvegasplayer1111
I tried running the Fallout 3 part of the mod manager, and it worked. I am even more baffled.
newvegasplayer1111
Sorry for the 3rd reply, but I have gone throught the process of re-installing Steam on my external hard drive. People said there might have been a permission problem with Steam (and thus New Vegas) being installed in Program Files. I install FOMM in the New Vegas directory on my External drive. Still a problem though. Though this time I was able to get to the part where you can locate New Vegas's directory for FOMM, but the programs crashes when I asked FOMM to autofine the New Vegas directory. Ran as administraitor and same thing. For some reason I have no problem running the Fallout 3 part of the program. (EDIT: for my own sake I selected autofind for the program to try to look through my comp for FO3's directory, but it crashes while doing so) This is annoying. The crash message says a crash dump has been saved in the FOMM folder in "C:\Users\newvegasplayer11111\documents\FOMM\crashdump.txt", but there is none >: Edited November 1, 2011 by newvegasplayer1111
