6PrinceofDarkness6
While I just got into the modding scene in Fallout 3, I downloaded the Space Marine armor mod here: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4651 After downloading, I followed the directions on the installation of mods here: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/articles/article.php?id=43 I have followed each statement to the letter. I have "ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated" unzipped into the Fallout 3 folder, and I tried adding the files from the Space Marine armor mod into the data folder. Nothing worked. In fact, nothing even appeared in the "Data Files" button in the startup menu. Can anyone help a poor newb?
WoogieMonster
Did you remember to also add the esm or esp file to the data folder as well? Forgetting to do so is what results in the mod not appearing in the data file menu.
6PrinceofDarkness6
Never heard of that. Could you elaborate?
Branimirzg
Never heard of that. Could you elaborate? You must activate mods or they won't work  ... You can activate them in fallout 3 laucher's "data" or infallout mod manager. And you can't activate them if you don't have their esp or esm file in your data folder
6PrinceofDarkness6
It's no matter. I figured out what I was doing wrong- all I had to do was take the files out of the folder, something I did not realize. But thank you.
