daventry
Please dont let a Courier bring me a Note from the Falkreath Jarl, then also Delete the Conversations from the Jarls and Stewards of Falkreath/Dawnstar/Morthal so we Dont Purchase Properties. Please Change the Clay and Stone Quarry around Skyrim to just Regular Rocks. Please Delete the Building Materials from the Game, i mean these things should Only be available for when you actually decide to Buy Properties.GlassGoat HornsSawn LogStrawHingeIron FittingsLockNails Edited May 17, 2014 by daventry

daventry
Oh i just assume Blocking the Dialog from the Jarls and just Deleting the Hearthfire Building Materials would be Safe, but i understand if it will Fubar the Game :P
TaeRai
Can't you just deactivate Hearthfire until you're ready to play it?
iadamzx
Can't you just deactivate Hearthfire until you're ready to play it?he could yes, but it would stop some mods working probably, i personally love hearthfire. TaeRai
I do too, but if he doesn't want Hearthfire items in the game... Deactivate the Hearthfire DLC?
daventry
Yea but i Love the Adoption that Hearthfire Provides
DrNewcenstein
So disable Hearthfires and get an Adoption mod that is not dependent on it. Or just:1. Ignore the letter from the Jarl of Falkreath. If, through the course of regular gameplay, the Jarls of Falkreath, Dawnstar, and/or Morthal offer to sell you property, or otherwise state you may do so, don't.2. Ignore the in-game Clay and Quarried Stone deposits.3. Don't buy Goat Horns, Glass, or Straw.4. When Smithing, skip completely over the Building Materials category.5. Don't click the "I'd like to buy some lumber" option when speaking to anyone at a sawmill.

Also as stated everything you listed is ignorable. You are not forced to do a quest. The one thing I think that can be done is stop the courier, and have the quest activate upon talking to the jarl directly. I'm not sure it's worth an extra esp for just that, though.
