MoneyBackGuarantee
I'm aiming to make a mod that makes financial/medical cliboards 'ingestible' items, where they temporarily increase respective stats by a few points before wearing off. However, I'm not exactly sure how to go about doing that. I want the clipboards to stay where they are in-game, but I can't seem to find a way to edit a clutter item to make it an aid item instead. A little help here would be great. Thanks in advance.

pkleiss
Using FOMM, extract the nif for the clipboards you want to use to the proper folder. Go into the GECK and edit any ingestible. Type in a new ID and give it a good name, then point the model to the nif you extracted. Save this new form. You now have an ingestible that looks like a clipboard. Now you have to setup the clipboard to do what you want it to. This is done by removeing the unwanted effects left over from the original ingestibale you started with and adding new effects of the type you want. If you don't see any effects that you want to use, you may have to create your own Base Effects then add them to your ingestible.
MoneyBackGuarantee
I understand all that, but how do I replace the standard clipboards with the ingestible ones? Or will that have to be manual?
pkleiss
The Cntrl-F (replace) function allows you to choose between the items you've selected (highlighted), the current cell or the current world. So if you want to replace all clipboards in the game, try using the current world option. You would have to do this once for each type of original clipboard. But you may not want to change every single one, and thus you would have to do it manually or by cell. In either case, that will take quite a long while.
