critchell
I was trying to make my own plug-ins for fallout 3 and after failing each one i started a new one. When i went to activate one for in-game use i could not find the file anywhere. It appeared in my start-search bar but when i clicked on it it could not be located. I deleted the shortcut anyway, but the plug-ins still appear in the G.E.C.K. I have tried reinstalling Fallout 3 and reinstalling the G.E.C.K. But 3 plug-ins continue to appear in the data files list, despite being nowhere to be found on my PC. How can i remove them? EDIT: I can load the supposedly deleted plug-ins and the changes i made still load properly (including a new world space, a door to this space in the wasteland, a new NPC and two new factions). You have vista, right? Your esp is in -> C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Virtual Store\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout3\Data It's hidden, Click on show hidden files and folders. To stop vista from moving your esp into virtual store: Install fallout outside of program files(like C:games/fallout3) OR: Give youself full control over fallout folder... Something like this-> Right click on main fallout folder, properties, security, edit, your username, full control
critchell
Thank you, i'm a bit confused as to why i didn't have full control in the first place. Being the only user-administrator on this pc.
