Dregor87
I've been trying to get these mods to work for the last three days. I just got this PC as a gift and purchased/installed Fallout 3 (Steam version). I did a complete uninstall and reinstall with a fresh copy. I already installed and did the prereqs with ArchiveInvalidation and the FOSE. Right now I only have the following data files and mods. Fallout3**All 5 DLC files**PB FOOK2 - MainPB FOOK2 [DIK] I installed the Mod manager and tried to run the game having it crash only about 3 seconds into the menu. I seemed to track down the error caused by the .Net framework due to other issues people have been having. It seems that a certain version causes crashes and is solved by updating to a newer version (in this case it's version 3.5.1, which I already had installed anyways) I tried to update it but it keeps telling me to "turn the windows features on or off". I tried this but the setup still keeps telling me to do same thing again even though I deactivated and reactivated the features. Any ideas? On a bright note when I run just the Fallout data file with the 5 expansions the game works perfectly fine, so I know the problem lies within three things: The Script Extender, the Mod manager, or the .net Framework. Dregor87
Ugh... until I get some help, I'm not going to try it again. :( Had to download Fallout off of Steam for the third time now.
Dregor87
NNNNNN.....evermind. Turns out because I have the Steam version of Fallout 3, the FOOK mod was installed to the wrong folder. I moved everything over and now it seems to work.
