Ok so my problem is that I downloaded Obmm to make some mods I downloaded work, and as a fail chick I am I cant even install it, what happens is this:

I was told to choose a place to install Obmm and I thought my 2nd hard drive(D) will do the work since I don't have enough space on C . Well I choose D and the install guide say this: Oblivion Mod manager must be installed to Oblivion installation directory.

and I have Oblivion installed on D so what is the problem?

since my brother aint home I don't know what to do.

feel free to call me a noob , I mean i am one so.

and to let u know im from sweden so excuse my horrible english.

hope someone can help

Make a new folder called "Oblivion" and put everything from your D:\ drive you have shown in that picture into that "Oblivion" folder. Put all OBMM files in their too.

Your English is much better than my Swedish. But from the looks of that d: drive Oblivion is not installed properly.

You should have at least an Oblivion folder. The best way would be to install to a games folder such as D:\Games\Oblivion

Do not just delete the existing installation as that can cause more problems

Here is a link to my complete uninstall/reinstall procedure located in the articles section of the Nexus

Once you have an Oblivion folder with Oblivion installed in it, then install the OBMM into it also. Be sure to read the instruction as OBMM is not a mod and does not install like a mod.

OBMM is a mod manager and is not required for any mods to run. There is a program called OBSE that is a script extender and IS required for many mods.

Note - Oblivion will not allow 2 copies on the same operating system. So if your brother has his Oblivion on the C: drive and you install to the D: drive, it will no longer recognize his copy.

I do have a work around for this, but it is much more technical than just getting the game to work.

Here is a link to my dual Oblivion article.
