blackrose87
I apologise if this has been brought up before, and there are plenty of mods out there which achieve this... I've noticed in both Oblivion and Fallout 3, that if you place objects on top of each other, or place them on beds, shelves, tables and the like, they seem to sit apart from each other. Objects seem to be like a ships in bottles, and the bottles is invisible... and I've seen this sort of thing happen with npc's and my character also. That's about as simple and retarded as I can put it, lol. I'd search for a mod myself, but I'm not really sure on what keywords I can use. Help... Please! :wallbash:
ytsejam91
That "problem" is due (i think) to bethesda's collision meshes, slightly bigger than the model itself.Such a mod would edit nearly all the game models, becoming quite big (around the file size of meshes.bsa) and incompatible with all the mods that edit the original game models, such as UOP... the only thing i found on he nexus is this: RD Better Book Collision (keyword: collision) but it only covers books
blackrose87
Kudos to you! Thank you for the help, The way you put it, I can see how it would be a problem with other mods, or in general. Books would be cool though. For some reason, I got a kick out of decorating my home in Fallout, and would spend hours putting books and booze on shelves, and littering the tables and beds. I'd too the clothes on floor thing, but their always too neatly folded... not my style, ;)
