Burnagirl
I had the same problem and the way I solved it went like this : Firstly I made sure that the FOSE application was in the right place ........... C:\program files (x86 in my case as I'm running windows 7 64 bit)\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\.thats where I unpacked FOSE .Then FOSE wanted to be linked to Fallout 3.exe and then after a lot of trial and error I discovered the answer .....I downloaded a fallout 3 update (1.7) and then ran the update.I then double clicked on my FALLOUT MOD MANAGER and it worked just fine, the game ran smoothly. It seems to me that in order to bind or connect FOSE to the FALLOUT 3.EXE you have to run an update and that solves the problem. Wish you luck If I'm missing anything please do not hesitate to mention it to me, but this worked for me.
