CTD at Friendship Heights

Hey folks... this buggygame is diving me nut, but I don't want to stop playing it...

 

Latest issue I experienced is a Dramatic CTD when I try to entering at the metro station of Friendship Heigth.

 

Did you experience that? usually CTD appear randomly in wasteland (not too often anyway) but now is related to the LOADING of FH metro station... I never enter in it but I read that is a great area though. Did this CTD related to the WIN XP hard drive usage? I mean I read that a possible solution to CTD is to set paging file =0... This did not solve my problem but I'm pretty sure that the issue is due to the hard drive activity in some way that I cant explain!

 

I also uninstall DotNet Framework 3 and Visual C 2005 (both installed by FO3)... I uninstall also DotNEt 3.5 Sp 1 (and i did not re-install it again because I read that even this version can cause randomly CTD)

 

My system is WIN XP sp3, HD 4870 1Gb (slightly overclocked), E8500, 4 Gb RAM Corsair
