Slaver problems

Hey there,

I'm doing the strictly business quest right now, and enslaved everyone but flak. I just enslaved Lancaster during her sleep and walked out of tenpenny tower. as soon as I try to load a save, my game turns black and freezes. when I try to enter a new area, like a house, my game crashes. New saves also cause the game to freeze. My mods are, apart from all expansions, highway hideout, stronger fatman, wasteland travellers, gnr, weapon mod kits, and accurate assault rifles. I haven't changed any mods since this bug occurred. pls help since I really like this game and want to to able to play it again.

You most likely have save game corruption. Unfortunately, this kind of thing propogates from save to save. There are only two methods I know of to rectify it. The first probably won't work for you since you can't enter new cells nor make new saves, but here it is anyway:

 

1) Go to an empty interior cell, wait for three + days then save the game. Exit to desktop, restart the game and load your save game, then return to the wasteland.

 

2) Start a new game.

 

You may want to try to unload your mods one by one and try method 1 above. If it works, you can then add back any mods you removed.
