Thalan1a
Would it be possible to make a mod that would allow you to transport your character in NV over to Skyrim and back or would that bee way too difficult to do? LordAndSavior
Considering the fact that New Vegas and Skyrim both use different engines (Gamebryo and Creation Engine, respectively) and have different gameplay systems as well; I'd have to rule that out, it may however; be possible to port the meshes of New Vegas but not the guns or gameplay effects (maybe SKSE could help but I doubt it) in Skyrim. TL;DR version: No, but porting portions of New Vegas to Skyrim might be possible.
maybenexttime
It's actually possible but it's not worth the trouble. Something usually goes wrong, I hear only rare success stories Creation Engine is a modified Gamebryo engine. They just gave it a new name... Thalan1a
Ok wasn't sure if they used the same game engine or not. Would be easier to create a new game world for NV than a crossover.
Fistandilius
Creation Engine is a modified Gamebryo engine. They just gave it a new name... While that's technically true, it had to be a drastic overhaul. Consider that the Gamebryo engine is owned by a third party company (see gamebryo.com). I doubt they would let Bethesda just make a few modifications and then rename their engine. It would be grounds for a lawsuit I think. Still I would be interested in learning how to take the facegen information from an NPC and try to make a Skyrim NPC from it.
