maxxixix
I've been searching for hours for mod that adds effects to elemental spells...like fire can set enemies burning, cold slows them, shock stuns etc. I know there must be a mod already doing somethin similar, but can't find it :( I won't begin studying modding coz of this tiny little much wanted mod, so please anyone know mods doing these things?? ..Preferably not a huge overhaul doing also everything else, or alternatively tell me how to do this myself if it's simple enough?? grmblf
Supreme Magicka. It is one of those "huge overhauls" but you'll enjoy the other features. And no, there's no quick way someone could tell you how to do it yourself without some previous knowledge about scripting.
maxxixix
I've played with Supreme Magicka, it's very good. But now i just want to play without it, with those spell effect burn, stun etc. There should be something like Modular supreme magicka, with choices to add/change just spesific things.. documn
I think it's possible to turn off almost everything in supreme magicka's ini.
grmblf
You can also load another magic mod after SM and let it replaces the spells and/or magic effects, this scripted elemental effects will remain. If you're playing OOO/FCOM and want it to prevail then move SM up in the mod list above it. The only ways to get this effects with vanilla magic would be 1) to edit the SM mod in the CS and remove all the spells, magic effects and all the stuff you don't want so only this scripts are left, 2) make a good copy-paste job and make it on your own (this is fair only as long as you don't publish the file), 3) ask it's author for a modular version, 4) make it all from scratch, wich I don't plan to do right now. Btw, if you "remove" the magic effects from SM you'll also loose their visual effects.
